Quand il fait chaud
Warm-weather chocolate delivery
From June to September, or whenever a heatwave is forecast, we change how we pack and when we ship. Here’s exactly what happens.

Heat threshold and cool-pack rules are placeholders (Open Decision #8)

Our rules
What we do in heat
- Every order travels in an insulated liner. Cool packs are added in warm months at no charge.
- If the forecast on the route is above 25 °C, we hold your order and email you the new dispatch date.
- We don’t dispatch on Fridays in summer, so no box waits in a depot over the weekend.
- Fresh truffles may be paused during heatwaves.
When it arrives
Four tips
Bring it inside
Don’t leave the parcel in a car or a sunny porch.
Let it rest
If it feels warm, leave it closed somewhere cool for an hour.
Skip the fridge
Condensation leaves a white bloom on the shell.

Melted anyway? Send a photo and we replace it.

Heat questions
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times by country are being confirmed against our warm-weather rules. Pending Open Decision #8 Orders placed before 14:00 on a working day leave the atelier the next working day. See shipping & delivery for other countries.
Do you ship when it’s hot?
Yes, with an insulated liner and cool packs. When the forecast on the route is too warm, we hold the order and email you a new dispatch date. Read the warm-weather policy.
Can I choose a delivery date?
Yes. Pick a date in the cart and we’ll plan dispatch so it arrives on time, weather permitting. The delivery calendar shows the cut-offs for holidays.
